Blue Marlin is from the Summer Siren Collection - 2011. It is a gorgeous dark blue creme. Well at least I think it's dark blue. I'm wearing it at the moment inside at night and it looks dark blue but in all my pictures it looks lighter. I can't remember what it looks like outside in natural light. Once I decide what colour it is I'll come back and add a note to this post. The formula was thick but manageable and worth putting up with for the end result. This one is really pretty so check it out in person if you can.

Has anyone in Sydney seen the new Ulta3 - Gelato collection in chemists yet?

EDIT: I decided it's a slightly darker blue than the photos.

  1. I have Lemon Tart...haven't tried it yet maybe I need to! I really like Blue Marlin, dark blue without being too dark, will need to keep an eye out for it!

  2. Lemon Tart looks like it will be a wearable yellow for me. Not bright and in your face like the other yellows I have.

  3. That's a gorgeous blue! I haven't seen the Gelato collection yet but I've been looking out for it.
I did find 2 bottles of Purple Passion though that are different to each other. One is pink and one is purple. Strange enough that I had to buy both and they're both quite nice :)

  4. Wow that's strange! I've got 2 bottles of Purple passion. One from about 10 years ago and the other from this year and both of them are purple. Check where they were made. I've noticed that some of the ones that are now made in PRC are slightly different shades to the Aus made version.

  5. yep one's PRC and one's Aus with the slightly different size bottle. Really quite an obvious colour difference though. I must take some photos of them together.

  6. Yeah the bottles have rounded top edges now, slightly more translucent caps and clear brushes. Also 0.5ml less polish. Let me know when you put the pictures up.
