Ulta3 - Exotic Canary

Exotic Canary is a bright yellow creme polish. The formula was nice but it was a bit streaky so I needed four coats.

Ulta3 - Fresh Squeezed

Fresh Squeezed is a bright yellow creme. The formula is streaky as I expected, I don't think I own a non-streaky yellow. There was still some visible nail line after three coats so I used four. You might be thinking that this looks similar to Frangipani, well you'd be right, they are very similar so I've done a comparison. 

Fresh Squeezed has a much nicer formula than Frangipani. Frangipani was much thicker, it was released not long after production moved to China, I felt like it took them a few collections to get the formula right.

Sally Hansen HD - Hue

Sally Hansen HD - Hue

Hue is a frosty yellow glass fleck shimmer. This one took it's time to dry and I kept bumping my nails on stuff. I always admire the Sally Hansen HD line in the store. All the colours look to pretty and I had planned to buy all of them eventually. I now have three of them. I just wish they weren't so expensive here! They are $13.95 each where I shop.

I hope all my Aussie and New Zealand followers have a great ANZAC Day! I can never convince myself to get out of bed and go to dawn service but I will be making ANZAC biscuits!

Lemon Tart is from the Ulta3 - Gelato Collection. I'm not really sure what colour this is any more. It seems to change with the lighting. The photo above it what it looked like in my lightbox and the bottle picture below is what it looks like under a normal light. It's a pastel yellow. This one had a good formula. I can see myself using this colour for an Easter mani this year. Sorry about the smudge on my pointer finger, I bumped it just before the photo.

Poshe Super-Fast Drying Top Coat

Frangipani is from the Summer Siren Collection - 2011. It's a bright yellow creme colour. The formula of this one was terrible, thick and streaky. It was hard to get an even coat. I also kept finding little black specks in the polish. I'll be adding some thinner next time I wear this. Maybe it's just my bottle, has anyone else with this colour had the same problems as me?
