tone it up is a coral creme. The formula was good. Fairly opaque. I used three coats for the swatch above. I forgot how much I liked corals until I wore this, I really loved it!

palette play is a slightly muted purple creme. The formula was good. I used three coats for the swatch above. I love purples and this is no exception!

emerald inten-city is a green creme. The formula was good. I used three coats for the swatch above.

bright me is a bright orange creme. The formula was good. I used three coats for the swatch above.

block it out is a blue creme with a subtle shimmer. This was opaque and I only needed two coats. I really like this one too.

The Color Game collection will be added to the core range of ulta3 so you won’t need to worry about them becoming unavailable any time soon. ulta3 ran a promotion when they released these shades last month. If you spent $10 you got a free bag. I've got the bag and it's really useful! You might still be able to pick one up if your local store still has some left.

ulta3 - Dark Romance Collection Swatches

Dark Romance is ulta3's Autumn/Winter collection for 2013. I picked these up about a week ago at Soul Pattinson Chemist in Pitt St Mall in Sydney. I always seem to find the new collections there so if you're in Sydney and looking for these try there first.

Lucky bamboo is a blackened green creme. The formula was nice and well pigmented. My colleague thought I was actually wearing black nail polish until he took a closer look.

Rustic red is a red jelly with a subtle shimmer that I couldn't capture in my light box. The formula was nice but I should have used three coats. You can see it looks a bit patchy near my cuticles. I didn't notice it until I looked at it in the sun the next day.

ulta3 - spring break, eighties fuchsia & mulberry

ulta3 spring break is a purple creme polish. It's bright but not quite neon enough to call it a neon. It looks similar to eighties fuchsia but they are not dupes. 

The formula was thick and gluey. I think this bottle must have been openened a few times in the shop for this to happen. I was still able to apply it ok. It dried slightly matte.

ulta3 eighties fuchsia is a neon purple creme. This dried very fast and was slightly matte when dry. The formula was a little thick but managable. 

I really liked the way eighties fuchsia looked on me. I think I'll use it for a pedicure next time I do one.

ulta3 mulberry is a berry creme colour. I haven't worn a berry coloured polish for a long time and i'd forgotten how much I like them. 

The formula was nice and it had an even coverage after two coats. The bottle I have is one that was made in Australia so the made in PRC bottles could have a different formula. You can probably still find a few made in Australia bottles if you dig through the ulta3 bins long enough.

Ulta3 Nail Stickers

I received these nail stickers from Ulta3 but they didn't include the instructions so I applied them how I though they should be applied.

I started with a base of Ulta3 - Black Satin. Once it was dry I applied the stickers, I put the rounded edge at the base of my nails so most of the gradient would fit. There are 8 cool toned gradient stickers and 8 warm toned gradient stickers so I swapped the stickers on my ring finger and thumb for accent nails.

I felt like there was a size missing in between the 4th and 5th sticker and the 5th and 6th stickers look to be the same size. I have narrow nail beds so I usually only need the smallest sizes. I used scissors to trim the length of the sticker to fit my nail because filing these made them raggedy. I wasn't sure if these were intended to have top coat or not so I only applied top coat to my index nail.

After a few hours they had started to lift up at the edges and I couldn't help but pick at them and make them worse so I only left them on for one day. My index nail with the top coat on did last longer and the top coat didn't cause any wrinkling so I would suggest using top cot with these stickers.

Ulta3 - Turquoise Treasure

Turquoise Treasure is a green creme with a subtle shimmer. You can see some of the shimmer near the tip of my middle finger. The base colour is similar to Ulta3 - Mermaid Green. This was opaque and only needed two coats.
