So This Happened...

I went for a jog with my dog today and she stopped suddenly. The lead caught on my nail as it pulled tight and... well you know the rest.

I've got a few swatches saved up but after that I'll be doing nail art for a while. I hope you all don't mind. I was wearing China Glaze - Water You Waiting For in the picture above if you were wondering.

    1. Luckily it wasn't painful as the break didn't rip any part of my nail that was attached to my skin. :)

  5. Omg I'm so sorry! I know how crushing it is when you have them all the perfect length and then in a split second they're ruined by just having the one break. Uggggh. Hopefully it'll grow back quickly!

  8. Oh no - that looks painful!

I have to say that CG's "Water You Waiting For" is one of my all time favourites. I love to use it as an accent nail when using Rimmel "Marine Blue". Next I'm going to try it with Covergirl Outlast "Constant Caribbean" and/or Revlon "Fascinate".

  12. Oh, I am feeling so sorry for you! I hate the numb/sore feeling you get on the finger tip when you've teared a nail off.

But you better not stop posting your wonderful swatches, I'll rather have some ring finger/pinkie swatches than none.

    1. I've got a few swatches I can use until I have to start showing my stubs. I hope you'll be happy with some nail art posts for a while. I won't be doing swatches until I can shape it properly. Hopfully that won't take too long! :)

  20. Well I'm glad it didn't hurt! I bet you'll come up with all kinds of great ideas while your nail re-grows. You could try them out on a nail wheel to practice on

    1. It's growing out very slowly. I think another week or two and it will be ok for swatches.
