GMU Friday: BYS - Adventures of Alice

Don't forget to enter my Blogiversary Giveaway and Nail Art Competition! There's three Born Pretty Store gift vouchers to be won. Entries close 5th August 2012.

BYS - Adventures of Alice
3 coats

Adventures of Alice is from the Wonderland collection. It has small purple, gold, green and silver hex glitter with gold and silver micro glitter in a sheer green base. The formula is thick and takes a long time to dry. I would have used four coats but it was starting to push all the polish to the tips rather than spreading out evenly. I gave up waiting for this to dry and used my O.P.I Drip Dry Drops then Seche Vite. This also has a strong smell.

  1. Where did you find this polish?! It's so gorgeous! But that sucks that it takes a long time to dry. :(

    1. I got it from Kmart for about $4. I think the Wonderland glitter polishes might be harder to come by there. You can also get BYS from a store called Gloss. The store near me has lots of different BYS colours.

    1. You should, just make sure you have time to wait for it to dry. :)

  4. That is actually super pretty, too bad about the dry time - there really is nothing worse than waiting forever for polish to dry. I wonder if you got a dud or do you think the multiple coats made it take ages? Would you say not to get it?

    1. I think it takes so long to dry because it's quite thick and I had to use four coats. If you really like this one you should get it, as long as you're willing to take the time for it to dry. :)

    1. I had a look in my local Kmart over the weekend and didn't see any of the Wonderland glitters. There's a make up shop called Gloss that sells BYS, they had a huge range last time I was there. Not sure if there's one near you. I think the glitters are a little bit more expensive there though.
