I think it's really interesting how the legal age for consuming alcohol and going to bars varies among countries. Here in Australia it's 18 but in places like America it's 21. I turned 21 last year and I couldn't imagine waiting until now to do what I've been doing for the last three years. No wonder you have crazy places like Las Vegas to celebrate finally reaching 21! I'm not sure what it's like in real life but in the movies it looks amazing! I'd love to go there one day to see it for myself and play a few fun casino games. So, because I can't afford to go to Vegas right now I decided to do some Vegas themed nail art.
Colours used:
China Glaze - Holly-day
China Glaze - Poinsettia
Konad Special Polish - White
Ulta3 - Black Satin
I used Holly-day for the base and then stamped the card suits from Bundle Monster plate BM19 (first set) in Konad Special Polish - White. I used a dotting tool dipped in Poinsettia to colour in the hearts and diamonds. I tried to do the same in black on my ring finger to the clubs and spades but they just ended up looking like blobs so I left it as an accent nail. At first I did try to do a red and black stamp but the colours ran together to much.
How fun!
ReplyDeleteI had fun doing it. :)

ReplyDeleteAdorable! The real Las Vegas is a lot of fun! I just had my first visit this past March =] And yes waiting until 21 can be quite awful but I think it's best for us American's! haha
ReplyDeleteThanks. At least the wait is over for you now :)
Deletethat's really cool! and you should definitely get to Vegas if you can - it's one of those rare places that is pretty much just like it's portrayed in movies :)
