BYS - Voodoo Violet

Voodoo Violet has small irregular shaped glitter and large holo hex glitter in a purple jelly base. The formula was thick. I find most BYS polishes are thick. I used four coats, I didn't wait for this one to dry because I was just swatching but I imagine it would take a long time.

piCture pOlish - Mask-a-rade

Mask-a-rade is from the Opulence range that was released earlier this year. Mask-a-rade has multichrome hex glitters in a clear base. The colour shift goes yellow, orange, red, pink, green, blue then purple. The multichrome glitters look the same as the ones in the Ozotic Elytra collection. It's like all the Elytra polishes in one bottle.

This polish is now a limited edition but there are still bottles available for purchase on piCture pOlish on-line so if you like this one get it while you still can.

Adventures of Alice is from the Wonderland collection. It has small purple, gold, green and silver hex glitter with gold and silver micro glitter in a sheer green base. The formula is thick and takes a long time to dry. I would have used four coats but it was starting to push all the polish to the tips rather than spreading out evenly. I gave up waiting for this to dry and used my O.P.I Drip Dry Drops then Seche Vite. This also has a strong smell.

Yay Friday! I'm always excited for Friday but today more than most because my best friend came back from a 6 week Europe trip today! :)

piCture pOlish - Peacock

Peacock is from the Opulence collection that was released earlier this year. It has small green hex glitter and very short green bar glitter with green shimmer in a purple base. Most of the swatches I saw of this were layered over a dark purple but it does build up on it's own.

Blue Jitters  it small purple square glitter in a black base. I'm not sure why this is called Blue Jitters, I don't see anything blue about it. Sorry if you're getting bored of different coloured glitter in a black base. I'll try to have something brighter for next GMU Friday.

Sorry this is late again, I ran out of time to edit photos after I got home last night.

Signature Runway has small square red glitter in a black base. I thought I could get away with only two coats but I noticed some bald patches so I used three coats. Icing is a brand that I wish was available here in Australia! I bought this polish from a blog sale.

GMU Friday: Wet n Wild - Night Prowl

Night Prowl has pink glitter in a black jelly base. The formula was really nice, perfect in two coats. I'm not sure how old this polish is or what collection it was from because I bought it from a blog sale.

I had the day off today and was able to make a significant dent in my latest project; swatching all my polishes on swatch sticks. I had them all swatched on wheels but was never a fan of the system because I couldn't regroup the colours if I changed my mind on which group a colour should be in. I hope I can get them all done this weekend, I've got swatch sticks all over my desk drying.

Emerald Sparkle is from the Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection from 2001 Edit: Sorry guys, I got my info mixed up with this one. This is actually from the Love You Snow Much collection from 2009. It has small emerald green glitter in a deep green jelly base. This had great coverage.

I completely forgot about Glitter Me Up Friday last week but I'm on the ball today! Absolutely Alice is from the Alice in Wonderland collection released in Spring 2010. Sadly this polish has been discontinued. Absolutely Alice is blue and gold glitter with blue micro glitter in a clear base. You'll need top coat with this it dries gritty.

BSOD is from the Hello World collection 2012. It has blue glitter in a blue base. This is absolutely gorgeous. This instantly became my favourite blue polish of all time! There is so much depth to it.  The formula was a little thick but I think that helped the colour build up easily. 

BSOD stands for Blue Screen Of Death which is a pretty serious (see what I did there?) error message with a blue background that serious PC users would have seen at least once. For April fools one year I put up a fake BSOD on my boss' PC whenever he left his desk. He rebooted about three times before I let him in on the joke. He was about to rebuild his PC, seriously, haha!

Pretty Serious Cosmetics was started by an Aussie nail blogger - Kaz from Pretty Random. You can buy Pretty Serious polishes from http://www.pretty-serious.com. There are also matching lip glosses and eye shadows. I highly recommend BSOD! Get over there and check out the other polishes in the Hello World collection. Revlon - Scandalous - Glitter Me Up Friday

Scandalous has large pink hex glitter and smaller hex glitter in a dark base. I had my eye on this one for a while but the price tag was putting me off. Then Priceline had a buy one get one free sale on Revlon so I got this and Royal. I love this! Now if only this came in a bright purple version. Maybe I can franken something.
