GMU Friday & The Great Australian Polish Challenge Day 5: BYS - Voodoo Violet

Don't forget to enter my Blogiversary Giveaway and Nail Art Competition! There's three Born Pretty Store gift vouchers to be won. Entries close 5th August 2012.

BYS - Voodoo Violet
4 coats

Voodoo Violet has small irregular shaped glitter and large holo hex glitter in a purple jelly base. The formula was thick. I find most BYS polishes are thick. I used four coats, I didn't wait for this one to dry because I was just swatching but I imagine it would take a long time.

BYS polishes are available from Kmart for $4.00, also Gloss, Go-Lo and  The Reject Shop. You can purchase them online from FashionAddict.com.au (they do not ship internationally).

I've been finding it hard to keep up every week so I've decided this will be my last Glitter Me Up Friday Post. I'll still be posting glitter swatches but not every Friday.

    1. Most of the ones I've tried have a long dry time, especially the glitters.

  6. It is a gorgeous polish! But that would be awful to have to wait forever for it to dry!

    1. O.P.I Drip Dry Drops can help speed up the dry time a bit. :)

  7. This is beautiful! Such a pity it's so difficult to work with. I've found that BYS glitters need way too many coats... I might let it settle then try to pour off the top layer or something to hopefully make it denser!
